Find yourself craving the flavors of an Orange Creamsicle on a hot summer day? What about a tangy-smooth strain to get you through your stressful week? We've got just the 'Ting'! Our newest cultivar, 'Ting', is a delicious Purple Tangie and Orange Creamsicle cross, here to make those taste buds water. With summer days in full effect post Memorial Day weekend, why not indulge in some frivolity after a rough 2020? We all deserve a little self-care this summer, and this is just the strain to give that to you.

You may be asking yourself, what makes this strain so special in comparison to its traditional mother strains? To explain this simply, its synergy! The synergy between two strains can be described like bringing together pie and ice cream, both incredible on their own, but on one plate, divine. Ting is no different with the euphoria of Purple Tangie and the decadent flavors that orange cream connotes. So get out that sunscreen, and enjoy a little me time by the pool with Ting’s tasty terpene profile. Remember terpenes? We covered them in a previous blog.

Speaking of terps, Purple Tangie is a twist on the traditional sativa-dominant Tangie strain which offers natural earthy notes with a citrus-cheesy flavor. Purple Tangie offers a similar burst of incredible flavors with a slightly more hybrid effect from having more dominant myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene active terpenes. Through these active terpenes, Purple Tangie is able to provide a beautiful euphoric effect leaving you focused, at ease and ready to take on any task the day throws your way. The true origins of the 'Purple’ is unknown to the cannabis community aficionados, but one aspect of Ting that we can all agree upon is that is delicious.

The ‘other mother’ strain to Ting is Orange Creamsicle. Why does it sound so good? Well for starters it is a crossbreed of an incredible tasting strain, Orange Crush and amazing indica dominant, Juicy Fruit. Orange Creamsicle, once harvested, is typically rich and green in color with orangish-red pistils and always frosted with trichomes. Those trichomes are what carry the citrus smell and flavor that burst from this plant ever so seamlessly. With such a citrus smell, one might believe this strain is more sativa dominant when in fact that Juicy Fruit genetics makes this pretty lady an awesome hybrid.

Since we highlighted what makes the mother strains so 'high'ly sought out, it’s no question why we choose those two to make up our newest cultivar. This tasty addition to our menu is the perfect way to kick off your summer Sunday cookouts, a day spent at the office or just to simply enjoy after a long week. Once you've tried some it will you have wondering, how you ever lived without such a 'Ting'.
